Almost here,

Summer

As we feel the changing
of the air,we know that summer
will soon be here.

We will know
when spring has passed,
when we smell the scent
of the fresh mowed grass.

When we hear the bee's
buzzing around,
when we hear children playing
at the playground.

When the sun shines brighter
and the heat much stronger,
when the days of light
become much longer.

When there's a scrumptious scent
of a great barbecue,
or when people line the shore
of the ocean blue.

To me nothing else
can compare,
to the season of summer
every year.

I honestly can't believe how fast the year went by now that summer is just around the corner. Here's hello to the fabulous shopping trips in London, the broadway shows in New York and sky-diving along the coast of Maldives but first I need to get through my dreaded exams, I've actually decided to try and study a bit earlier, let's hope it works out!

I've been meaning to get to actually beginning my story, I have a bunch of ideas on what to write but I don't want to start it until I'm done with exams.
